I think this quote from Diane Arbus describes the feeling of photography perfectly.

A certain tension and positive nervousness before it.

The indescribable feeling of sometimes knowing you've captured a special moment. An irretrievable moment.

The anticipation of the hopefully successful result. The chance to constantly learn and look forward to the next opportunity when things go wrong. Recognizing the path as the destination.

How can you not love photography?

One of my passions is street photography, which has a special appeal to me because of its unpredictability. In the field of people photography, I love the artsy work in a team of like-minded people. Lately, I've also been getting excited about food photography and being able to get creative with the styling on set before I shoot. Impressions of my landscape photography can also be found on this website … more to come.

If you are interested to collaborate with me on a project, don’t hesitate to send an e-mail to info(at)2m-fotografie.at.

Cheers, Manfred
